Mythic Adventures

Sacred Stories from around the Globe

Mythic Adventures is an audio program about sacred stories from all over the world. If you believe that there is a God, then this site invites you to consider what that implies: that your life history is a subplot within God’s Story.

I’m Ron Johnson, and I have a Ph.D. in philosophy from Saint Louis University.  I have taught at colleges in St. Louis and Cincinnati and currently teach at Spring Arbor University.  I am author of the book, Customer Service and the Imitation of Christ.  My articles have been published in the History of Philosophy Quarterly, Philosophy and Rhetoric, Religious Studies, the Way of St. Francis, and Alive Now. I am an active member of Portage Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Portage, Michigan (USA), where I am a member of the committee on adult education. I also produce a written blog called Spiritual Adventures in the Workplace, in which I talk about what God is doing when we’re busily engaged in secular pursuits.  I have devoted my life to finding points of contact with God in everyday life.
